Book me for a school or library visit today.

STEM and storytelling go together, even though they’re often taught in completely different parts of the curriculum.

I offer a wide variety of sessions for schools and libraries, tailored to different ages and interests.

From interactive readings and STEM workshops to Q&A sessions or book signings, there is an option for everyone.

  • The Human Body
  • Health Research and Medicine
  • How To Vanquish A Virus

What I Offer

I’m available for school or library visits, panel discussions, festivals and book or STEM clubs.

I offer STEM storytelling workshops for students in Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 for up to 20 children. Please note the children must be supervised by a teacher at all times so I can focus on delivering an engaging workshop.

My workshops focus on how I use science to create stories rather than writing itself.

At the end of the session there will be a Q&A and a book signing, if requested.

Pricing

For a single class-based workshop, the cost is £750 plus VAT plus expenses.

In terms of travel, I am happy to travel to your school or library in the UK or Ireland, as long as accommodation, travel expenses and subsistence are covered.

I also provide Virtual Events, conducted via Zoom. One-hour virtual sessions are £250 plus VAT.
